Welcome to Your Winter Arc Workbook

What is the Winter Arc?

The Winter Arc is your 90-day challenge from October to December, designed to level up your data and AI skills, boost your career, and set you up for success in the coming year.

How to Use This Workbook

This workbook is your personal roadmap for the Winter Arc challenge. Here's how to make the most of it:

  1. Skills Assessment: Start with the comprehensive skills assessment to identify your unique strengths and areas for growth in data and AI.
  2. Start a path on Dataquest that aligns with your skills goals. (I recommend starting with the Data Analyst in Python path if you are unsure how to start.)
  3. Set Your 90-Day Goal: Define your main goal for the next 90 days. What do you want to achieve by the end of December?
  4. Chunk Your Goals: Use our goal-chunking techniques to break your big ambitions into actionable monthly and weekly steps.
  5. Plan Your Weeks: Use the weekly template to plan your tasks and focus areas. Duplicate it for each week of the challenge.
  6. Weekly Reflections: Take time each week to reflect on your progress, challenges, and learnings. This is also where you can ask me (Kishawna) questions! I’m just one email away- [email protected]
  7. Sign up for our newsletter

This workbook gives you a sneak peek into the strategies I use with my coaching clients. For those wanting more in-depth guidance, check out our Dayta Dahta Membership or 1:1 coaching options.

Staying Motivated: The Power of Discipline

While motivation can fluctuate, discipline is what keeps you going. Remember you are doing this for future you. I also frame discipline as me keeping my promises to myself. Here's how to stay disciplined during your Winter Arc:

  1. Set a consistent schedule for your Winter Arc activities.
  2. Create a dedicated workspace for your learning and projects.
